Because it is made from sugar, Cal X 8 mg tastes like sugar. Tightly bound Carbon-chlorine bonds are exceptionally stable and prevent Cal X 8 mg from being metabolized for energy, making Cal X 8 mg calorie free. The chlorine atoms also provide heat stability, enabling Cal X 8 mg to withstand of cooking and baking without losing sweetness. Cal X 8 mg is not broken down for energy in the body. So it has no calorie. The Cal X 8 mg molecule passes through the body unchanged, is not metabolized and is eliminated after consumption.
