Zero 8 mg is about 320 to 1,000 times sweeter than sucrose, three times as sweet as aspartame, twice as sweet as saccharin and three times as sweet as acesulfame potassium. It is stable under heat and over a broad range of pH conditions. Therefore, it can be used in baking or in products that require a longer shelf life. The commercial success of Zero 8 mg-based products stems from its favorable comparison to other low-calorie sweeteners in terms of taste, stability, and safety.

Mode Of Action
Zero 8 mg is a Zero Calorie artificial sweetener. Zero 8 mg is about 600 times sweeter than sugar. Zero 8 mg Obtained from sucrose where three hydroxyl groups are replaced by three chlorine atoms. Because it is made from sugar, Zero 8 mg tastes like sugar. Tightly bound Carbon-chlorine bonds are exceptionally stable and prevent Zero 8 mg from being metabolized for energy, making Zero 8 mg calorie free. The chlorine atoms also provide heat stability, enabling Zero 8 mg to withstand of cooking and baking without losing sweetness. Zero 8 mg is not broken down for energy in the body. So it has no calorie. The Zero 8 mg molecule passes through the body unchanged, is not metabolized and is eliminated after consumption. Zero 8 mg does not cause tooth decay, has no effect on carbohydrate metabolism, no effect on fetal or neonatal development because Zero 8 mg is not actively transported across the blood-brain barrier, the placental barrier or the mammary gland. Zero 8 mg is non-interference in the utilization and absorption of glucose, metabolism of carbohydrates and secretion of insulin. Therefore, it is a safe substance able to be ingested by diabetes patients.
