Oral Gel
Miconazole is a synthetic broad spectrum anti-fungal agent and acts against pathogenic fungi including yeast and dermatophytes and gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp).
It acts by inhibiting membrane sterol synthesis and interfering with the permeability of the fungal cell membranes.

Who should not take Fungimin 2% w/w?
Miconazole is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the active ingredient.
What precautions should be taken with Fungimin 2% w/w?
If the concomitant use of Miconazole and anticoagulant is considered, the anti-coagulant effect should be monitored and titrated. Miconazole and phenytoin plasma level should also be monitored when used concomitantly. In infants and young children, caution must be taken to ensure that the gel does not obstruct the throat.
Is Fungimin 2% w/w safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
