This capsule is indicated for the treatment and prevention of-
Osteoporosis
Coronary artery calcification
Rheumatoid arthritis
Dosage of Menaquin 200 mcg
Orally 1-2 capsules daily or as advised by the physician.
Interaction of Menaquin 200 mcg
Menaquin 200 mcg may alter the effect of warfarin. Concomitant use with orlistat may decrease the absorption of Menaquin 200 mcg.
Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Menaquin 200 mcg. Use of Menaquin 200 mcg is contraindicated with warfarin.
Side Effects of Menaquin 200 mcg
Generally well tolerated in recommended dose. From a large number of clinical trials using dosages in excess of 40 mg/day, there were no reports of side effects associated with any type of hypercoagulable state.

Menaquin 200 mcg is a fat soluble vitamin which is also known as vitamin K2. Menaquin 200 mcg is an especial key isomer of vitamin K2 that is produced using Bacillus subtilis. Menaquin 200 mcg is the active trans-isomer of natural vitamin K2 with the highest bioavailability and longest half-life in blood. This makes Menaquin 200 mcg also available for tissues outside the liver, namely bones, arteries and soft tissues. It is a powerful cofactor in transporting excess calcium out of the arteries and depositing it into the bones thus prevents hardening of arteries. Menaquin 200 mcg is very essential for healthy bone and artery.
