Oxecone 200 ml is generally well tolerated when used as directed. However, prolonged or excessive use of any antacid, including this one, may lead to:

• Alkaluria (alkaline urine)
• An increased risk of nephrolithiasis (kidney stones), due to precipitation of calcium phosphate
