Take Fosfomycin Trometamol exactly as prescribed by your physician; do not stop, extend, skip doses, or share this medicine with others without medical advice. Even though Fosfomycin Trometamol is given as a single dose, completing the full prescribed course and following the physician's instructions helps ensure effective treatment and reduces the risk of antibiotic resistance.
Most adverse effects associated with Fosfomycin Trometamol are mild and self-limited following the single-dose regimen.
Fosfomycin Trometamol is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to fosfomycin, fosfomycin trometamol, or any component of the formulation.
