Glycerol + Hypromellose + Polyethylene Glycol 400 is an ophthalmic lubricant (artificial tears) combination indicated for:

  • Established/OTC-monograph use: Temporary relief of burning, irritation, and discomfort due to dryness of the eye.
  • Established/OTC-monograph use: Relief of ocular discomfort caused by minor irritants such as wind, sun exposure, air conditioning, prolonged screen use, or reduced blinking.
  • Protective/adjunct use: As a protectant against further irritation, or to promote comfort when the eye is exposed to dry or irritant conditions.
  • Adjunct use: Supportive lubrication in contact lens wearers experiencing dryness (only with lens-compatible formulations; see Precautions).

This is a symptomatic, supportive therapy; it does not treat the underlying cause of dry eye disease and does not replace evaluation for persistent or worsening symptoms.
