Indications of Hydrocortisone Acetate + Benzyl Benzoate + Bismuth Subgallate + Bismuth Oxide + Balsam Peru + Zinc Oxide

Hydrocortisone Acetate + Benzyl Benzoate + Bismuth Subgallate + Bismuth Oxide + Balsam Peru + Zinc Oxide is a combination topical/rectal preparation indicated for the symptomatic relief of the discomfort associated with hemorrhoids (piles) and other minor anorectal conditions.

  • Established use: Short-term relief of pain, itching (pruritus ani), burning, soreness, and swelling caused by internal and external hemorrhoids.
  • Guideline/clinical-practice-supported use: Adjunctive symptomatic management of minor anal fissures and proctitis-related discomfort, alongside dietary/lifestyle measures (fiber, hydration, sitz baths) that address the underlying cause.

Hydrocortisone Acetate + Benzyl Benzoate + Bismuth Subgallate + Bismuth Oxide + Balsam Peru + Zinc Oxide provides symptomatic comfort only; it does not cure hemorrhoids or address their underlying cause.
