Pharmacology
Cinchocaine is a local anesthetic which relieves severe pain and relaxes sphincteric spasm.
Neomycin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic which eradicates most infections which may already be present or arise in lesions of the anorectal area.
Esculin improves skin vasculature and is effective in management of cellulitis.
Hydrocortisone acts as an anti-inflammatory and anti-pruritic agent and thereby eliminates itching and inflammation.
