Bone-Guard is a nitrogen-containing bisphosphonate used mainly for bone disorders in which bone breakdown (resorption) is excessive.
Bone-Guard is not established for reversing severe bone loss on its own in every setting and is generally used together with adequate calcium and vitamin D intake, and lifestyle measures (weight-bearing exercise, smoking cessation), as advised by a physician.
