Active Ingredients

• Benzydamine Hydrochloride 0.15% w/v -- a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent with local analgesic (pain-relieving) and anti-inflammatory action
• Chlorhexidine Gluconate 0.12% w/v -- a broad-spectrum antiseptic that helps reduce oral bacteria and dental plaque
• Manufactured by Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Bangladesh

Indications

• Relief of pain and inflammation associated with conditions of the mouth and throat, such as sore throat, mouth ulcers, and gum inflammation (gingivitis)
• Supportive antiseptic care to help control dental plaque and gingivitis as part of an oral hygiene routine
• May be used as an adjunct after dental procedures, as advised by a dentist or doctor

Dosage & How to Use

• Gargle or rinse with 15ml (approx. one capful) of the undiluted solution for 15-30 seconds, then spit out -- do not swallow
• Use every 1.5 to 3 hours, or as directed by a doctor or dentist
• Brush teeth before use for best antiseptic effect
• Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days without consulting a doctor or dentist
• Not intended for swallowing; for oral rinse/gargle use only

Side Effects & Precautions

• Temporary oral numbness or a tingling sensation is the most commonly reported side effect (reported in a meaningful minority of users)
• Less commonly reported effects include a stinging or burning sensation, taste alteration, dry mouth, and rarely nausea
• Chlorhexidine-containing mouthwashes used for extended periods may cause temporary staining of teeth or the tongue, and can affect taste perception -- this is a known, generally reversible effect of this ingredient class
• Discontinue use and consult a doctor if signs of an allergic reaction (rash, swelling, severe irritation) occur
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, or giving to children, as dosing and suitability should be confirmed by a healthcare professional
