XeroSoft Aloe + E is intended for external, topical use only on intact or minor superficial skin and is not intended to treat deep wounds, significant burns, or infected skin.

XeroSoft Aloe + E is a topical over-the-counter combination product formulated as a gel, cream, or lotion for use on the skin. Mechanism of Action

XeroSoft Aloe + E is for external (topical) use on the skin only.

• Clean and gently dry the affected area before application.
• Apply a thin, even layer and gently massage in unless the product label directs otherwise.
• Wash hands before and after application unless the hands are the area being treated.
• Avoid applying to the eyes, inside the nose or mouth, or on mucous membranes.
• Do not apply to broken skin, deep wounds, puncture wounds, animal bites, or actively infected skin unless directed by a physician.
• Do not bandage tightly or use as an occlusive dressing unless instructed by a healthcare provider.

XeroSoft Aloe + E is applied topically and, when used on intact or minor superficial skin as directed, has minimal potential for clinically significant systemic drug interactions because systemic absorption is negligible.

• Other topical products: Concurrent use with other topical medications, cosmetics, or skin treatments (e.g., topical retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, other topical antimicrobials) on the same area may increase the risk of local skin irritation; space applications apart or consult a physician/pharmacist if combining products.
• Oral anticoagulants (theoretical): High-dose oral vitamin E has been associated with increased bleeding risk with anticoagulants; this concern is theoretical for topical vitamin E acetate given minimal systemic absorption, but patients on warfarin or other anticoagulants applying large areas of skin regularly should mention this to their physician.

Side effects of XeroSoft Aloe + E are generally mild and limited to the application site:

• Common: Mild, transient stinging, tingling, or cooling sensation on application; temporary redness.
• Less common: Allergic contact dermatitis (itching, rash, redness, swelling, or blistering at the application site) - discontinue use if this occurs (see Precautions and Warnings).
• Rare: Generalized allergic reaction (hives, facial or throat swelling, difficulty breathing) - seek immediate medical attention if this occurs.

There is limited formal clinical safety data specific to topical XeroSoft Aloe + E in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Because systemic absorption from topical use on intact, limited skin areas is expected to be minimal, the product is generally considered low-risk for external use during pregnancy and lactation; however, it should be used only if clearly needed, in the smallest area and amount necessary, and pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a physician or pharmacist before regular use, particularly over large body surface areas or for prolonged periods. If breastfeeding, avoid applying to or near the nipple/areola unless the area is thoroughly cleaned before nursing, to prevent infant ingestion.

Before using XeroSoft Aloe + E, consider the following:

• For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes; if accidental eye contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
• Discontinue use and consult a physician if signs of irritation, rash, itching, or allergic contact dermatitis develop (see Side Effects).
• Not intended for use on deep wounds, puncture wounds, animal or human bites, significant/severe burns, or skin that appears infected (increasing redness, warmth, swelling, pus, fever) - seek medical evaluation for these situations instead of self-treating.
• Do not use on large areas of broken or denuded skin without medical guidance.

If the product is accidentally swallowed, especially by a child, or if a significant allergic reaction, widespread rash, or eye exposure occurs, seek immediate medical attention or contact a poison control center/emergency services rather than attempting home treatment.

Store at room temperature (below 30°C), away from light and moisture. Keep the container tightly closed and out of reach of children.

Infants and young children: Use XeroSoft Aloe + E with caution in infants and young children; apply only a small test amount first and supervise application to prevent accidental ingestion. Consult a pediatrician before use on infants under 6 months of age or on large areas of an infant's skin.

Elderly: No specific dose adjustment is established for elderly patients; older adults may have more fragile, sensitive skin, so monitor for irritation.
